A Single Voice matters

Voices need to be heard and understood, whether little or big. Our generation of ideas and inspirations are sometimes brushed away without thought and understanding. Public speaking and writing songs are some of the platforms I use for people to hear my voice. I don’t have a captive audience but 1 or 2 souls are enough as long as they hear what I have to say.

It’s sad to say that we live in a world where the modern generation of ideas and desires is brushed aside. We also live in a world where so called “freedom of speech” is acknowledged, but we aren’t given the freedom to speak for what we believe in.

How can the older generation say that the hands of our future is with the youth and children, but refuse their ideas and practices?

Is it the fear of change? Is it because we felt so comfortable with this and is not open to the change that my generation is capable of. We have brilliant minds, hearts, speakers, influencers, ideas and aspiring leaders. It’s the lack of support that brings us down. We aren’t given an opportunity to show what we are capable of.

We are all scared of change cause we are fine in this snug blanket but is afraid to go over the edge and explore what is out there right in front of us. I know change is hard. I have been there and is still working in that process. I think the world is scared of adapting to drastic changes and is afraid to try something new. This is hindering the new generation, my generation to move forward.

“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”

Success is really not final; but failure as I’ve experienced is a way for us to grow more as a person.

GIVE THE YOUTH A CHANCE AND SEE CHANGE.

“Great things happen to those who don’t stop believing, trying, learning, and being grateful.”
